Louis is an Assistant Consultant with Logika and joined the company in 2024.
Louis obtained a MSc in Conservation and Biodiversity from Lancaster University, and completed her undergraduate degree in Agricultural extension Education in Kenya. Louis has worked with the conservation bodies including working closely the National Trust prior to her role at Logika, supporting conservation and restoration work in the Morecambe Bay area and The Butterfly Trust. Her consultancy experience includes undertaking protected species surveys and has a keen interest in habitat management, restoration and agriculture. Louis has a strong focus on ecological fieldwork and a bias for data-driven decision making through people-nature-centred approaches.
Environmental design input into a feasibility study for a large new urban park, comprising of land within the London Boroughs of Greenwich and Newham and to include the River Thames that would pass through its centre.
The role of Wild London, Open London was to improve access to and the use of the network of parks, gardens, nature reserves, rivers, canals and other areas of green space in London.
Members of Logika were responsible for leading the environmental work associated with an application for Development Consent Order to reopen Manston Airport, Kent.
Ending the Cranford Agreement will enable a rebalancing of the airfield operations, which will bring environmental and most particularly noise benefits. It received planning consent following a Public Inquiry in 2017.
