Baz obtained a BSc (Hons) in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Science including a year’s placement from The University of the West of England. In his previous roles he has been a conservation ranger undertaking habitat management and conservation tasks including habitat enhancements on development mitigation sites.
More recently, Baz has focused and developed his practical and technical skills within ecological consultancy. He has a strong background in conducting a variety of field surveying techniques for protected species (ranging from GCN and badgers to bats and breeding birds), including performing baseline habitat assessments and reporting.
Baz is a Qualifying member of the Charted Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and has a Professionally Qualified Person Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
