Alan has significant experience in Habitat Regulations Assessment (HRA), Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA), Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and policy and legal compliance for developments and uses this to identify the opportunities for biodiversity within project design, whilst effectively managing the consenting, cost and scheduling risks associated with biodiversity and other environmental disciplines. He advocates for the early establishment of multidisciplinary working during the design process in order to maximise opportunities both for biodiversity and project viability.
Alan has worked across a number of sectors including property, transport and energy and has also worked on many Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects including significant roles on Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station, Heathrow Expansion, Navitus Bay Offshore Wind Farm, Rampion 2 Offshore Wind Farm, Triton Knoll Electrical System and the North London (Electricity) Reinforcement Project
