Craig has been responsible for the management and preparation of Flood Risk Assessments for a wide range of development projects across the UK. His recent experience includes leading the flood risk and drainage input for a 150-hectare residential led development within Essex. Based on the scheme’s proximity to Stansted Airport, there was a need to carefully consider how surface water runoff would be managed to minimise bird strike hazard whilst also maximising the potential for Sustainable Drainage Systems and ensuring that flood risk to the surrounding area was not increased.
Craig has a track record for providing comprehensive advice to the design team to ensure that SuDS and flood mitigation measures are considered early in the design process to maximise environmental and sustainability benefits, which assists in navigating the planning process with minimal issues.
Prior to joining Logika, Craig was an integral part of Waterman’s Flood Risk and Drainage team based in London.
