The role of Wild London, Open London was to improve access to and the use of the network of parks, gardens, nature reserves, rivers, canals and other areas of green space in London.
In consultation with a myriad of stakeholders, including members of the public, proposals were developed that sought to improve access for people walking, cycling and using sustainable transport to travel to and between green spaces in London; promote London nationally and overseas as a green city; and enhance the nature conservation value of greenspaces across greater London, including making them more resilient to climate change over the longer term.
Members of Logika led the feasibility project and also partly authored and reviewed the associated report. The outputs were very well received by the Mayor of London’s steering group and also by a wider group of stakeholders.
