A Chartered Environmentalist with over 20 years’ experience in environmental consulting, he has a background in multi-sector EIA management and detailed technical expertise in air quality, climate change and emissions quantification, impact assessment and management.
He has been involved in the development of air quality and carbon emission inventories at local, national and European scales. Chris has experience in implementing and managing long and short-term environmental monitoring programmes, undertaking atmospheric dispersion modelling assessments relating to the impact of industrial, transport, waste management and minerals and mining sector upon the air environment, as well as acting as an expert witness at Public Inquiry.
Chris has particular expertise in the management and delivery of complex air quality and carbon assessments for major infrastructure projects, most notably in the power and transport sectors, including Development Consent Order applications and highly contentious public consultation exercises.
